"The Echo String Quartet is an all female string quartet based in the North-West of England, formed whilst studying at Paul McCartney’s prestigious music college ‘The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts’ and playing as section leaders in The Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Since forming in 2015, the quartet have been featured regularly on Channel 4 as part of British Soap Opera 'Hollyoaks' and provided background music for high profile events for Liverpool Football Club and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Echo String Quartet have also provided backing strings for indie-rock band Circa Waves in Grammy-award winning Parr Street studios. They have also played at many weddings and corporate events, such as The Telegraph Cruise & Travel Show, Liverpool John Moore’s University Graduation Dinner, the official opening of The Philharmonic Music Room, in venues including The Anglican Cathedral, The Royal Liver Building and St George's Hall. In addition to this, Echo Strings have performed backing strings for artists for festivals including Liverpool International Music Festival 2016 and Threshold Festival 2016.
Despite being classically trained, the ensemble pride themselves on being a young, innovative group, with a repertoire ranging from Mozart to Glenn Miller to Bruno Mars. They also provide their own arrangements of modern day pop songs."

“Working with Lara and the girls in Echo String Quartet has been an absolute pleasure. Having contacted LIPA to enquire about availability of students, Lara from Echo String Quartet, was very prompt in responding with video footage and a bio. Their performances were fantastic and provided our visitors with a relaxing and intimate atmosphere within our Cream Tea Experience. We have received many lovely comments from our visitors since the show, and I would highly recommend Echo String Quartet for any event that requires a classy and sophisticated musical accompaniment
